In the video demo they revealed open-world dungeons, dragons, node development, mayoral interface, and even announced female dwarf beards. Foghladha Resigns His Post For A Few Months
It's regrettable, but with the current condition of business my job had to make some cutbacks and part of that hit my department with a 20% reduction in pay via moving to a 4-day work week schedule. To balance my books and keep afloat during this time I have to cut my spending on subs and recurring monthly costs for hobbies. Unfortunately, this includes my World of Warcraft subscription which expired on the 17th. So for the time being the ever-loving and helpful Varder will be taking over. It's times like these that make me truly appreciate this community and members, like Varder, who over the years constantly offer their support.

Season Two Draws to a Conclusion
I wanted to make sure everyone had forewarning to spend those Fangs before April 3rd when the Season Two store is removed. This is your Final Warning to spend that currency. Season two has brought some great things to our door.
In season one, we called Westweg home and held but one fief. At the start of season two, we took a second fief named Mainstadt and continued to expand our reach. By week eight we would expand to include the city Nordtal and the village Fallenberg. Our Gaiscioch Alliance now comfortably owns four fiefs providing our warriors with ample supplies for fief quests, optimal ability to create kits and siege weapons, and a large area to protect.
Since the kickoff of season two, we were attacked by brutaL & Kheshig both of which no longer exist. More recently, BloodMoon has provided us with some entertainment by attacking us, but we have thwarted every attempt. We have even sought out their fiefs and successfully taken their land in retaliation for their transgressions.
Our policy of peace to all remains intact until provoked. Our community now has 15-25 online every territory war with at least 10 of us fielding tier 5 troops. We continue to maintain our hold on the northwest of Osteria while building trade alliances with other nearby alliances to expand our resource gathering potential.
Overall we have come into our own in Season Two. We are no longer the weak training house that had to be given land. We can now fight and hold land as we see fit and can stand on our own two legs with the protection of the Gaiscioch and the support of ArachDubh. Our community has grown to be the 8th largest alliance in the game with its sight on becoming one of the largest 6 alliances. Two of our 4 fiefs have reached level 7.

A Look At Season 3 Goals
In season three we will re-establish our home in the northwest continuing to call Westweg home. We will fight relentlessly to acquire, defend, and maintain Fallenburg, Nordtal, and Mainstadt in addition to Westweg. The biggest change we will make is that we will begin having all ArachDubh members focus their fief quests on Mainstadt and Fallenburg, while Gaiscioch members focus on Westweg and Nordtal. Tuatha members will be able to focus on whatever they can for the week.
Our goal is to get all 4 of these fiefs to level 5 so that each of them has a chance to spawn 5-star fief quests that draw the public to help maintain them. Westweg we will push to be our Tier 7 fief so that we can craft purple siege there. With our research in season 2, we found that it cost 15,000 resources to maintain a Tier 7 village where it takes 22,000 to maintain a Tier 7 town. Both a town and village can create the tier 7 siege weapons. The only difference is that the town brings in 1200 influence whereas the village brings in 500 influence. Influence affects the number of titles you can distribute every week.
Tuatha being without a fief has worked out nicely in season 2 as it adds incentives for members to progress to the ArachDubh house and later the Gaiscioch house. This will hopefully thwart the people who try to join just to get paychecks. For several months we have maintained a 99 person roster in Tuatha with a waiting list and no player is more than 7 days afk. We are actively moving overall players who show a willingness to interact with us over to ArachDubh to get them started in our system. My hope is by the end of Season 3 both Gaiscioch and ArachDubh will be at 90 people a piece and we'll have at least 30 of us with Tier 5 troops. Both Gaiscioch and ArachDubh will begin rotating members at 90 people. So if you want to stay on the roster, complete a daily quest each week. Fief quests are also great ways to stay involved even if you can't make the territory wars.
As resistance has begun to grow to our presence, Territory War battles will increase on our shores. The introduction of several new Tier 5 units this season brings the promise of some interesting changes in the meta.
Have an Alt?
You can open the Houses & Alliances (N) window, click on Alliances, and join the Gaiscioch alliance. You won't have to be in the House with your alt to be in the alliance. This allows you all the benefits of being in the alliance without using up one of our roster slots. As ArachDubh and Gaiscioch fill up we will be removing alts to make space for actual players. We would like everyone's alts to remain part of the community by joining the Alliance rather than a house.

Chronicles of Elyria Launches Pre-Alpha… Then terminates everyone 5 days later.
Like the virus plaguing the world right now, Chronicles of Elyria's downfall sprung up out of nowhere. Thousands of crowdfunders are left with a sour taste in their mouth as COE pulls its plug just 5 days after the launch of Pre-Alpha. COE raised over 8 million in funding over the 4 years of development but alas, Soulbound Studios closed its doors.
"But to our great sadness.... with the failure of Settlers of Elyria, and five long months of only limited crowdfunding revenue coming in, Soulbound Studios has officially run out of money. Last night I was forced to do something I never thought I'd have to do. I closed the online store, put the SoE map back into read-only mode, and laid off all the employees…"
It's a sad state of affairs and we are really heartbroken to see this one fall. On the bright side, Ashes of Creation just got a lot more popular pushing it closer to our chapter goal.
