  • Monday Night Casual Dungeon Events (4 PM PT)
In our search to find content that people would like to play together, we have a wide range of gameplay. As the population isn't there in ESO for large activities we've been forming groups to take into dungeons using the party finder to fill the rest of the groups. This month we will be taking on the dungeons some of us missed to get unlocks and achievements. Join us if there's a dungeon you still need for a particular color or trophy and let's go slay some beasties.

  • Letting Elder Scrolls Online Sleep for Now
It's never easy to say goodbye to a chapter. We have seen a gradual transition in Elder Scrolls Online over the years. It began as a vibrant MMORPG community with our membership exceeding 1,500 active players. In 2018 we hosted the Chronicles of Tamriel and cleared zone after zone as a massive group exploring the far reaches of Tamriel. In Alliance vs Alliance we ran upwards of 3 raid groups at a time and conquered Elder Scrolls for the Ebonheart Pact.

  • A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That, You know where it's at!
Join Gaiscioch Sunday mornings at 11AM PT as we begin a rotation this month alternating between AvA on Ravenwatch and going after useful Skill Lines in the PvE world. This August we will target the Psijic Order skill line and begin the quest line from the beginning starting the second week of August. You will need the Summerset DLC to participate in the alternating PvE events but it should allow many of you the opportunity to unlock this rather useful skill line. Once we complete it we will move to another skill line. I hope this will serve as a great opportunity to unlock those skill lines on your alts or maybe even your main if you've missed it.

  • Next Chapter Announcement Incoming
Zenimax has been pretty tight-lipped on when the new announcement will be, but I have my suspicions. The Microsoft-supported Annual Video Game Awards takes place on December 9th and I would not doubt if the next chapter of ESO makes its debut there. This has turned into a 10% awards show and 90% world premiers of new games and expansions. It's by far the biggest night of the year for western gaming. I'd keep a close eye on updates from Zenimax and keep your eyes peeled for word on the announcement. It should be really soon.

I want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out for the Chronicles of Tamriel. It went over very well and I am planning to have Chapter 2 kick off in January 2019. If you would like to help make that happen feel free to start sending in Motifs and other items worth more than 1000 gold. We will need a few top prizes as well so if anyone has a 1+ million gold item they want to donate feel free to send it to @Foley and I'll award you donation credit. Overall 64 people claimed participation in at least 1 event with 111 registered. I think next chapter we will likely grow to more than 64 and we've got a good starting point to attract an audience. Be sure to head over to https://www.chroniclesoftamriel.com/ and check to make sure your prizes are claimed.

  • Chronicles of Tamriel off to a Good Start
We've got the first week under our belt and things are going good. We were aiming to have a smaller sized public community event with between 24-72 people participating (2-3 Raid Groups). Our first week we had 32 that entered in the raffle which is about where we expected. We've got some pretty cool prizes that ZeniMax tossed on the pile including a digital collector's edition of Summerset, a set of mini posters autographed by the team, and 50x 750 Crown Packs to give away. Be sure to join us Thursdays at 6PM PT for the next part of the Chronicles of Tamriel. Head over to: https://www.chroniclesoftamriel.com/ to learn more.

  • Elder Scrolls Online News - February 2018
Introducing the Chronicles of Tamriel Public Community Event Series At launch, ESO had many walls that prevented us from hosting a massive public community event like the Battle for Badlands, Telara Saga or Great Tyrian Adventure. Personal instancing made grouping hard let alone get 50+ people adventuring together. Good news is since launch a lot of these walls have been removed.

  • Zenimax Knocks it Out of the Park
Holy hell Morrowind is good. I got hands on with Morrowind on the PS4  thanks to a early access review key from Zenimax and have to say it brings back so many wonderful memories of TES III. This expansion has really raised the bar for Elder Scrolls Online. This is a living testament that even when things go terribly wrong out the gate, the game isn't done until the devs quit. ESO has made a wonderful transition from the game it was to the epic game it is now. Be sure to check out Morrowind when you get the chance you won't be disappointed.

  • Housing On The Way!
Woo hoo! This was one of the things I spoke with Matt Firor about when I was out there and he said they definitely were working on it but wanted it to be awesome and unique if they were to go live with it. I suspect we'll be in for a treat. There’s also rumors floating about regarding a true ESO expansion that might be announced this year. Not sure how true the rumors are and nobody at ZeniMax has verified that it's something on the horizon, but if there is something we will likely hear about it at PAX East. Matt Firor did say that there was something big coming to ESO but he wasn't at liberty to share it yet. So cross those fingers.

  • Strong Growth in November
Over the past few weeks we've had a free weekend, Elder Scrolls Online went on sale for $9 and we've seen a surge of more than 30 players joining our community. This is great news as the current Elder Scrolls Online is much better than the original and the chance of these new players sticking around is much better. Over the next few months we will continue to grow our ranks and look forward to future growth. What this means for everyone is we will have greater ease finding groups to hang out with and also will likely see some marketplace action in ESO.

For those of you who missed it Matt Firor dropped some big news at E3 this year. He spoke of their upcoming content including housing and more content on the way. The big news however was One Tamriel, that takes a page out of RIFT’s book and allows players of any level or faction play together. A new bolstering system will match player levels to content levels and the walls between the 3 factions will fall in PvE allowing Aldmeri to play with Ebonheart seamlessly. • ESO Shows Stability and Fun Times
Things in Elder Scrolls continue to roll forward. Population is remaining a constant teeter totter around the 205-215 active player range.  We've hovered around these numbers for about 4 months now which is very positive. We have started a new AvA for beginners event for people looking to be exposed to some AvA action, Foghladha will be running undaunted next Thursday... yes I said it :D.  If you want to see that and maybe be one of the unlucky people that has to endure a dungeon with me come out on 1/7 at 6PM PT to join in the fun.

  • Legacy Chapter Growing Again
This past month since we've rebranded and changed our stance on recruiting has lead to our first rise in population in several months. Things are growing once again and we continue to strengthen our ESO community. At the moment I am currently working on creating an official GSCH Logo and Pitch for use in ESO and other Social Adventures. Once that's complete we will be able to start posting messages on forums and see this growth turn up the heat a bit.

  • ESO Adventure Night
Coming in January, I'd like to start rotating ESO into the event lineup on Thursday nights in a smaller, non-pvp style. I'd like to stream some of the dungeons and world content. The first thursday of the month I'll be banding together with whoever would have me and go venture through some of the pve content. Eventually I'm hoping to work myself into a Hel Ra group or two but still have a long way to go to get to the right level. I'm thinking Orsinium might be a good place to start. I also think this will give me a good chance to get to know some of our new folks. This event will happen the first thursday of the month from 5 to 8 PM Pacific.
