The Story of Kaytlyn

The Lost Warrior Princess. a new beginning.

It seems so long ago now. Celebrations of joy, and happiness have long past. All that is left now is for the woman to earn the respect of her peers.
She was the only child of a clan warrior. Raised from birth to fight alongside the men of her clan. She had to work harder than the young men. It was expected they would all become warriors, but not the auburn haired maid that trained alongside them. She asked no quarter of any man for she was not burdened with too much wine and good food. She was nimble, and quick witted. She learned faster than her peers, for she had to in order to make her aging father proud. Her mother, alas had perished in childbirth. It was no wonder the child of a great warrior would follow in her fathers footsteps.
Now the years have taken their toll, her once flaming red hair has softened to a blondish grey.
She has not lost her speed and quick mind and looks now to earn a place within her "Clan". Clansmen to be sure, but unfamilar to the woman who stands with them now.
Time will tell how the warrior fares. Time and the fates of battle.
