SHARK WEEK!!!

So, we cannot let this week pass by unremarked! I would like to suggest that, even though Blizzard has committed a rather peculiar oversight and not chosen to observe this holiday in-game, we should not let that deter us from paying homage to that most magnificent of creatures, the SHARK.

I had a couple of ideas that I thought might be fun for us to do. One was to get the achievement for killing the Whale Shark in Vash'jir: From Hell's Heart I Stab at Thee

There's also the Savage Whale Shark in Tanaan Jungle, which drops one of the shipyard equipment recipes.

Also, I was thinking it might be kind of fun to have a screenshot contest. Take a picture of yourself fighting a shark and the best screenshot wins ... something. My imagination fails me here but maybe someone has a good idea?

Thursday night at 6:00 pm server (4:00 pm PST) we will travel to Vashj'ir and take down the Whale Shark world boss as a guild.  AWESOME Idea Lilou :)

Also on the in game calendar.  Bring your Left Shark pet (or adopt one from the Guild Vault today!) and we'll get a group shot at the event.

The whole time she's posting this, the shark continues to attack her in game.  I feel bad for the little guy.  He never makes any progress.

At least I did /cower so he thinks I'm afraid.

He's still trying.  Right now, her computer is starting to slow down.  I think he has some sort of electronic attack.

I like your screenshot idea, too. Nothing like taking a S.E.L.F.I.E. with a shark right behind you =)

Thanks to everyone who came out to take down the Whale Shark. It took longer to figure out how to get everyone there than it did to do, but we did get the pictures to prove it:
