Been Mia

I know I have been mia for awhile and will be for some time.  For those of you that know me, been having a lot of testing done and am scheduled for lung surgery 9/9. 

Seems I have lung cancer.  Luckily it is non small cell and stage 1 and so far thanks for all the tests done no lymph nodes are involved.  Soooo between the testing and getting stuff together haven't been online much at all. Nor have I been on raidcall.  Atm I cant talk very well due to the test I had last Monday, I still have a lump over my vocal chords which makes me unable to talk well.  Well have fun all and as soon as I feel better I will head back.

Hugs and Prayers and Coffee sending your way. Take care hun we'll be here when you heal up and are ready to go again.

Good luck with the surgery Jex!  My Dad had lung cancer a couple years ago and lost some of his right lung (3 lymph nodes were affected).  I know it will take a little bit to learn how to breath properly again, but he's better than ever now!  Prayers and warm wishes going your way :)

Jexia, I'm Glad that they found it early. My mom had early breast cancer and was able to recover with minimal downtime.

I give you all the Light and Love I can muster sweety and Pray this goes off without a hitch and you will be back to the Jexia we know and Love.

Prayers for a speedy recovery Jexia!

 The progress in the treatments of cancer astounds me these days. Glad they discovered it at stage 1 and sounds very promising.  Sorry to say that I don't pray in the traditional sense. However in my meditations I will do my best to send as much good ch'i and positive force as I can your way :) in hopes for your speedy and full recovery.

Oh wow, I guess your surgery was today, and I hope that it went as well as it possibly could.  Sending all of my best wishes for a succesful recovery and I pray that they get it all so that you'll never have to worry about it again.

Her surgery went really well.  She's out of CCU and now in her own room recovering.  Everything went great and the doctor now expects her to be home much faster than originally anticipated.

Thank you Terinos for keeping us posted. Glad to hear that every thing went well.  Hope she is home soon. Home can some times be the best medicine........ well that and chocolate chip cookies.

Great news!  You'll be back in fighting shape in no time!

This is great news.  Been having our church intercessory prayer team praying for her, too, since she says the more the better.  ;)  I'll be passing this info on to them, but we'll be praying through the whole recovery.  Maybe I'll try giving you a call in a few days.  This time to actually talk to you instead of leaving a message to see if everything is okay like that one time you didn't show on time for something.  ;)

Wow, that's a big diagnosis, and I'm sure very scary. Prayers and warm thoughts to you! My sister beat stage IVa thymoma cancer a couple years back, and my sister-in-law beat stage II breast cancer. The prognosis is a lot better with stage I cancer, so it's great that it got caught early!

One of the things my sister found very useful was a site called CaringBridge.org. It's a way of getting information to many family and friends without the same difficulties that Facebook or Twitter can present with privacy issues and all that. I think you or your family members might find it extremely helpful, too.
