Welcome to the Black Desert GSCH Social Adventure
Thank you so much for joining us on this adventure. I know many of you come from our different chapters. I welcome you all. Family of old, and family of new. This social adventure is a entry level guild experience in Black Desert Online. Here you will learn about the basic guild missions, the smaller objectives in the Node War, crafting, and hunting together. This community will not be participating in the Region War, Guild Wars or Subjugation Missions. We want to keep our focus on becoming some of the best craftsmen and tradesman in the game while getting our feet wet in the Node War. Our community is friendly and benevolent and focuses on creating enjoyable adventures for all levels. We understand that some may wish more from BDO and it is highly encouraged to spawn up your own guilds or communities and run them as sub groups within the social adventure community. Any player in any guild who is a Gaiscioch member can log leadership and participation within our social adventure. The guild tag above your head does not matter. What matters is that you are family. That said, if you would like to be part of the GSCH Social Adventure please read the information below as it will help you connect with us.

Guild Membership & Roster Rotations
GSCH
Our community is built off the principle of being a community friendly, benevolent group in the games we play. A home for the casuals as well as the hard-core. BDO however enforces a 100 player cap to guilds thus making it less casual player friendly. To accommodate the small roster size we will be rotating players who have been offline the longest to allow the new players needing to join a seat. If at any time you need a re invite simply visit the Social Adventure page and request a reinvite or contact one of our officers listed below. We will do our best to keep the Guild full of players actively playing right now. As such we will not be using contracts for more than 14 days at a time. Most players to start will receive 7 day contracts. If population requires we may reduce it to a day by day contract.
Other Guilds
There may come a time when you want more from your Black Desert experience than what you are finding at GSCH. You may want to do subligation missions, or participate in region wars. It is perfectly ok for you to join another guild and still participate with other members to claim activities on our social adventure page. Even if you and a few friends decide to spawn up your own guild, you are welcome to use the social adventure system to claim participation and list your events. Social Adventures are not about guilds, their about players. We are all members of Gaiscioch and we are all here to enjoy our time. Regardless of the tag above your head, you are family.

Joining the Community
If you would like to join GSCH in Black Desert Online you can go about this one of two ways.
- Login to Discord: http://gsch.info/bdo and contact one of the members in gold who are in the "BDO Leadership" rank. They can give you an invite if there is currently space. If we don't have space you may need to wait a day so we can upgrade the guild size once again.
- You can ask in /channel for an invite to GSCH and a member online might be able to get you in.
It is requested that all members of our GSCH BDO Social Adventure register on this site at: http://gsch.info/join using the secret word easilly found in game in the MOTD or by contacting another member for the secret word.
Please Note: Due to guild size restrictions, there may be some wait time in getting invites. We are growing the guild cap as fast as we can, however due to demand the free spots go quick. We WILL get you in one way or another but you may have to wait a day or two for us to get the guild cap increased.
Guild Size Limitations & Roster Rotations
As with most games we've seen come out over the past few years guilds are being limited in size quite drastically. As you can imagine with popular games like Black Desert this creates all kinds of woes for a community like ours. I want to make this as clear as possible.
Getting removed from the in-game guild does NOT mean you've been removed from the family.
We will rotate members based on who has been offline the longest so that we can invite the people waiting for an invite. Additionally, Black Desert works on a 30-day contract system for guild invites. If you do not renew your contract after 30-days you will automatically be removed. This is a game mechanic. So if you go on vacation and find yourself without a GSCH above your head, simply login to Discord and ask for a Reinvite.
We do not remove people from our family unless:
- They specifically ask to be deleted
- They break our credos and rules on more than one occasion.
- They go blades in on family
Vacations, family time, heavy work schedules, or prolonged afk are not reasons we remove people. Once family always family. You can go afk for years at a time and resume right where you left off.
Earning Social Points
What are Social Points?
Social Points are one of 4 secondary point values you can earn in the Gaisicoch Family. Leadership and Fellowship are the two primary point values that can only be earned by participating in chapters. Artisan, Lore, Discovery and Social points are secondary point values that can be earned in addition to meet the requirements for each rank. All 6 of these point values get totaled up into your Family Honor Points. Family Honor Points determine your eligibility for new ranks within the Gaiscioch Family. By participating in Social Adventures you can earn Family Honor Points towards your next rank. In addition all Family Honor Points get converted into Family Vault Tokens which can be used to purchase new games in our loot vault, crafting materials and items in our chapter titles, and even real world loot items like patches.
You can earn social points by participating in Social Adventure Events.
Scheduling An Event
All members who are Lorgair rank and above can use the Event Manager to schedule an upcoming event. There is no in game rank requirement to organize events.
Leading an Adventure
All members can post an adventure on the website. This is done by clicking "Lead an Adventure" on the BDO page or by clicking "Lead" on the homepage in your Command Center. Then you can start your event and post the duration of your event in increments of 15 minutes, 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Participating in an Adventure
To claim participation click on the event you wish to claim on the BDO Page. Once on the event page click the check boxes next to the length of time you played and click "Claim Selected Objectives". You will have 24 hours from the time of the event to do this before the event is locked down and points are awarded.
The GSCH Credo
While members of GSCH are part of the Gaiscioch Family, they function under a similar credo which allows them the freedom to approach new potential members through private messages and forums to recruit. We ask that all members continue to be a shining example of who we are as a community and welcome new members and allies with open arms.
The GSCH Credo
"I will honor the community by acting in a manner that speaks of our kindness, I will refrain from activities that would dishonor the community, and I will honor the requests of the community elders. I will fight my opponents with honor, giving them a fair fight. I will not spawn camp, grief, cheat, or harass my allies or foes. I will encourage them to fight and win my battles with the highest of honors. I will respect those around me both within the community and outside, I will act in a manner which speaks of our benevolence and kindness, and I will not disrespect the community by engaging in spiteful comments or actions even when provoked. I will hold our community's integrity close to heart and I realize that my actions directly affect that of the whole community. I will say what I do, and do what I say. I will not fall back on promises or make false claims. I will welcome others to the fellowship with open arms and be courteous those who cross our path. I will act in a welcoming way and ensure that those who participate in our events feel welcome whether they are part of the community or not. I will seek out those of shining character and introduce them to our ways, but ultimately they must make the choice to join our family."
Our Core Values
The very core of our family's values are Honor, Respect, Fellowship, and Integrity. This system is an extension of trust to our members and it is only because I feel they are honorable enough and act with integrity that we have opened this up for many on the fly adventures without governance.
That said, all official adventures will be operated under the Gaiscioch Credos and Code of Conduct. Any violation of these guidelines will result in disciplinary action which may include removal from the community. We take the reputation of both Gaiscioch and GSCH very seriously and anyone acting in a way that is unbecoming of a Gaiscioch will be dismissed.
We need to be a beacon of light in this world shrouded in darkness. Be the honest player who says something and does something. Be the respectful player that treats everyone with kindness. Be true to you word and always follow through with your promises. Most of all protect the kinship we share and do not let harm come to our family. We must be seen as a helpful and caring bunch of people. For this is the Gaiscioch Way.
"A GSCH must always walk the higher ground.
Never to let themselves be controlled by anger or act from rage.
They must be true to their word, lead with compassion and act with honor."
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between a Chapter and Social Adventure?
The Gaiscioch Chapter is designed around being a large scale public events focused community. These typically exceed 500 to 700 people and host server wide events for all players. All chapters are vetted against a 230+ line item compatibility matrix and must meet several core requirements to be eligible for review. It must also maintain an active membership of 300 or more players. Chapters are also limited to being fantasy based only.
The GSCH Social Adventures are a small to medium sized community ranging from 4 to 300 people. The focus of a Social Adventure is on keeping our family playing together in non-chapter games. These can be anything for FPS to MMORPG. While Chapters are focused on entertaining server communities, social adventures are focused more inward. Were designed from the ground up to be small scale.
Both are part of the Gaiscioch family. Our focus at large is largely focused on out chapters, but social adventures are where we go when we wanna just let loose and have fun with friends without trying to entertain the masses.
Chapters:
Large Scale (300+)
Public Community Event Focused
(Entertaining entire server communities)
Social Adventures:
Small/Medium Scale(3-300)
Social Casual Fun Focused

Do I have to join GSCH to participate in the Social Adventure?
No. We encourage you to find a guild that fits your needs. Simply participating in our events will earn you social points on our site. The guild tag does not matter.
Can a Social Adventure Player rank up in the Gaiscioch Family?
Yes. To some extent. New players who join us through Social Adventures that have not played with us in a full chapter can level up to Freiceadan [4] without ever stepping foot in a Chapter. This rank allows them to use the full features of a Social Adventure and have a foot up when and if they decide to join a full chapter.
