Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Witches Festival 2021 - Part 2
While a smaller group then our first event, it was no less eventful. We decided to haunt other parts of the world this time, venturing to Summerset and Western Skyrim for our plunder "skrulls". The geysers of Summerset isle were uncharacteristically quiet, so went to Blackreach to tackle a harrowstorm, the first for some of the party. We cleared the Nchuthnkarst public dungeon and various other bosses along the way as well. As always, it was a fun time and look forward to the next event.

My first event in some time, which admittedly gave me a little anxiety, because of all of the recent ESO changes and my characters not being fully updated. To make things more interesting, the original date and time of the event had to be postponed due to ESO bringing the servers down for maintenance. It is fun to think it was due to the increased demand for my event or maybe because the ESO powers-that-be did not want Carande to miss it, lol. In any case, we started to group up a day later than originally planned, but like all of my events in the past, all anxiety quickly went away, such is the power of the Gaiscioch family...

Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Crystal Isle and Element Shards
Tek equipment is nice, but it requires a special "element" to make and power. Unfortunately there is a very small source of element on our main base map of Ragnarok. The solution is a trip to the Crystal Isle with our picks and trusty anklyosauros. The Crystal Isle has some interesting features, like floating globes that when you enter you are actually under water. We explored a bit, but mostly focused on finding and harvesting element shards. We came back with over 20,000 total element shards, along with as many of various gems that are not found on Ragnarok either...

Another hunt for mating pairs or partners for lonely dinos. Maxina was looking for an Allasourus and a couple of Baryonyx to compliment his growing stable. Crickgy helped him track and bring down the Allasourus, while I did some work on my tower elevator system. Crickgy spotted an Alpha dino, a raptor, which I've been looking for and guided me to the spot for the kill. The three of us then went after the Baryonyx, which it is said you should not attempt in the water. The first one we found and easily captured on land, the second we saw in the water and tempted fate on a raft, which resulted in a couple of us in the water and one death...

The brave Harkonis led the team of Trithian, Stavian N'Rall, Sunderbrass, and Liam Shadowkin into the depths of... well, The Depths. All participants were a little strong for a dungeon of that level, but for most it was their first time. Though the warriors made quick work of Captain Thorpe's henchmen, Harkonis warned them that the final showdown with Thorpe would be deadly. The heroes were given pause by Archdeacon Azamela who managed to down Harkonis, and kill Sunderbrass. Bowed, but unbroken, the heroes made their way to the final confrontation, and it was a massacre...

Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Cats and Kangaroos
We went on a hunt for breeding pairs of Thylacoleos and Procoptodons. Thylacoleos are large cats that can climb and jump extremely well. Trying to find and tame a thylacoleo is not easy, because they are known to pin down and rip their prey to shreds, which we experienced first hand, sustaining major injuries and a few deaths before finally getting our two kitties. Procoptodons are kangaroo-like marsupials, with pouches used to help raise babies. They are not dangerous, but do hop around a lot, which make it a little difficult to trap...

We grouped up, gathered more people and started the run. Next thing you know it's 2 hours later, we had about 8 GSCH people and some PUG players. 35 minor chests and 1 Major chest. Nice run!

Cricky had her sights on taming a brontosaurus, so Maxina and myself helped track down a fine female specimen for her, which turned out to be on my little tower isle. We chased it around, shooting her with tranquilizer arrows, and finally brought the beauty down before it could escape into the water. We then spent some time working on a gate to keep the big girl from running away, like Cricky's chickens like to do, lol. The aftermath of the hunt actually caused some damage to the irrigation system to my plots, but nothing a simple part replacement couldn't fix...

Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Tower Topper
After losing almost everything, except for my trusty Argent, due to a "fatal error" crash and events preventing me from retrieving my body, it was time to rebuild. Acquired a glider, grapple bow, and SCUBA gear, which allows me to unleash my inner Batman, Spider-man, and Aquaman. A lot of time spent putting A topper on my tower, which is kind of ironic, since most of the tower isn't completed yet. The next goal is to build up my electronics supply, so my tower's elevator system can be completed and can safely reach the top of the tower.

Introduced Crickgy and Maxina to some of the special features of ARK Ragnarok. After they were acquainted with there mounts we took a flight around to find them a place to call their own. While scouting an area, Crickgy was attacked by a very aggressive argent, or may it just fancied her mount and was flirting, lol. Swooped in with my trusty mount, to distract the attacker, and an aerial combat ensued, with our group coming out victors! Eventually found a nice place at Viking Bay that they staked out to build on...
